| The ZDX not only looks great, but it's also thoughtfully designed for
safety. Nearly half the body is made of "high-strength" steel, a
material that provides rigidity and crash protection without adding the
weight associated with conventional steel. Additionally, blind spot
technology, a rear view camera and HID headlights provide the driver
with excellent visibility. Other safety features include
high-performance brakes and a unique airbag system that adapts for
children and shorter adults. Storage Space a Pleaser For its smaller, coupe-inspired design, the 2012 Acura ZDX has remarkable storage capacity. This five-passenger vehicle offers more than 26 cubic feet of space in the tailgate. Additionally, the Acura has small storage compartments behind its removable side panels and 2.2 cubic feet of storage space hidden beneath the trunk floor. The latter space can hold up to four golf bags. When the second row of seats is folded, the back area provides nearly 56 cubic feet of cargo space. A Variety of High-Class ZDX Models The three members of the 2012 ZDX series include the basic Acura ZDX, the 2012 ZDX with a technology package and the 2012 ZDX with an advanced package. The MSRPs range from about $46,000 to about $56,000. Each model features a 300 HP, 3.7 liter V-6 engine and Acura's trademarked Super Handling All-Wheel Drive. Additionally, 19" 7-spoke aluminum wheels, the largest in Acura's lineup, are standard.
